Author
Steffi Stern is the Creative Director of The Makerss, a vibrant needle felting shop in the Cotswold market town of Nailsworth. She loves creating and designing new needle felting kits and is passionate about growing her ever-expanding community, believing wholeheartedly that everyone is a maker. She delights in running workshops, as well as giving talks and demonstrations about the versatile and therapeutic craft of needle felting.
Crafting has always been a part of Steffi’s life. Growing up in Germany, she learned to knit and crochet from her mother. Then, as a young mother, she discovered needle felting and was instantly hooked. Over the past 22 years, this passion has grown from hobby to vocation. Making Mini Needle Felts is her fifth needle felting book with Hawthorn Press.
