Ashley Ramsden

Ashley Ramsden is a storyteller of international acclaim.  He founded the International School of Storytelling in 1994 at Emerson College, England, and continues to teach there.

He also travels the world performing and running courses, and is as comfortable telling stories at Sydney Opera House as he is in a friend’s living room.

With a background in theatre and speech, Ashley has developed unique methods of teaching storytelling and voice work. He is particularly known for his one man shows of A Christmas Carol, The Amazing Adventures of the Hodja Nasruddin, Tistou, and The Man Who Planted Hope.

Ashley co-authored The Storyteller’s Way: Sourcebook for Inspired Storytelling with Sue Hollingsworth.
