The book is composed of a series of articles that discuss the chaos and horror of America’s political, economic and social climate. Author Christopher Schaefer describes his experience as an immigrant to America from the age of seven. He raises disturbing questions whilst offering practical hope in building communities of conscience to create positive change.
“Chris reminds me of W.S. Merwin, the great American poet who wrote, ‘On the last day of the world, I would want to plant a tree’. Re-Imagining America: Finding Hope in Difficult Times is an acorn. May it take root and grow into a mighty oak. It is also a great, good deed, for which I am abundantly grateful.”
