Hawthorn Press' purpose is to publish books for a more creative, just and peaceful world - books supporting learning for personal and social change. Many of our publications can be used by groups for learning and working together as Hawthorn Press' authors typically lecture, run seminars, conferences, talks, workshops and creative activities with the book to support participants' learning. We work with groups and networks of people engaged in addressing pressing current questions so as to bring their work to a wider audience. We also work in partnership with like-minded organisations; for example our Early Years Series supports the work of The Alliance for Childhood.
