Early Years Series Articles
There are interesting debates raging about bringing up children and about early years' education. Hawthorn's early years books inform many of these discussions, such as how to make childhood a commercial free zone, the importance of play and issues around the English government's controversial foundation stage curriculum.
Because many readers are interested in these questions, we have decided to put a selection of articles as pdfs for reading and downloading for personal study on our website. Many articles are by our authors, or our former Early Years Editor Dr Richard House. These articles are listed below, and the latest to be posted will be at the top of the list. Please email on attachment any article you'd like us to consider for inclusion to martin@hawthornpress.com, preferably in PDF format. Please also suggest any reciprocal website links we can put in on the Hawthorn site. We hope that this will be a good way to spread ideas, discussions and useful information. One good article can be really inspiring and life changing.
